The National Cadet Corps (NCC) in our college plays a vital role in shaping disciplined, responsible, and confident youth. It is a premier youth organization that aims to develop character, comradeship, leadership, and a spirit of selfless service among students. Through its structured training and activities, NCC nurtures young cadets into responsible citizens who contribute positively to society and the nation.
The NCC unit in the college provides students with opportunities to undergo military-oriented training while pursuing their academic goals. Cadets are trained in drill, physical fitness, weapon training (theoretical), map reading, and first aid. These activities instill discipline, time management, teamwork, and resilience, which are essential qualities for both personal and professional life.
NCC also promotes leadership and patriotism by organizing camps, parades, adventure activities, and participation in national celebrations. Annual Training Camps (ATC), Combined Annual Training Camps (CATC), Republic Day Parades, trekking, and mountaineering expeditions provide cadets with exposure, confidence, and real-life leadership experiences.
